Chief Engineer – Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality – Johannesburg



Salary: R429 024-R556 908 per annum

Minimum requirement:

    A BSc or BTech Civil Engineering

    Professional registration

    A valid driver’s licence

    Extensive relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:

    Manage the planning, design and tendering of capital projects and  programmes related to water and sanitation services

    Manage contract administration,  monitoring and quality contro

    Handle the general administration of projects and the division

    Carry out budget/financial management

    Conduct planning management of capital projects  and handle the appointment of consultants

    Be responsible for personnel management and  general administration

The successful candidate who does not have the NQF Level 5 financial  management qualification will be required to obtain this in terms of the  National Treasury requirement.
